#SnapshotsOfMobile | Vol. 1
As some of you may know, I've recently moved and I'm now a city dweller on the coast of Alabama. Although I have visited Mobile several times since my family moved to Alabama when I was in middle school, this is the first time I have lived here in the city. I'm stilling getting to know some of the area and there are lots of things left to explore. This is definitely one of those cities where it's easy to be a tourist in your own town. Not too mention, it's a city located right on the Gulf. Meaning, I'm living right by water. Which means, I'm a happy girl. I get to drive across Mobile Bay every morning to go to work and that means I get to see some incredible sunrises and scenery. It's definitely not a bad drive, even when there is traffic, because there is something beautiful to look at.
Happy Friday, friends! I hope you all are ready for the weekend, because I know I certainly am. For one, I have a free coffee waiting for me from Panera Bread and I fully intend on getting that on my way home to visit my parents this weekend. Coffee is good no matter the weather, season, or time of day in my opinion! Here's to hoping you have a wonderful Friday and a lovely weekend!
Every Friday, I'm going to be sharing snapshots that I have taken in and around Mobile. Not only do I want to share with you guys this place, but it will help me to get out and explore. I love the idea of "snapshots", because sometimes they are quick and can be hurried. My photos may not always be perfect or frame-worthy, but I hope you enjoy them. I hope you enjoy seeing little glimpses of Mobile and I hope this encourages you to get out, explore your town, and take advantage of all your place may offer.
Mobile is actually one of the rainiest places in the United States. One year, it even surpassed Seattle as being the rainiest city! I'm only a fan of the rain if I'm laying in my bed listening to it tap against my windows. If it's raining and I have to drive somewhere, well, my plans might get changed. This snapshot was taken one afternoon on my way home from work as it was beginning to rain.
